It covers the whole National territory and it is provided in matrix format to the external users. The DTM is obtained by interpolating orographic IGMI data. The resulting product is a matrix with a resolution of 20 metres, whose elements (pixel) indicate elevation. Plane coordinates are given in the UTM-ED50 system within the related time zone. Matrix data available to be purchased are in ASCII or BINARIO format.  The format for sale is the “Tile”, i.e. the division of the National territory in two time zones, with areas measuring 10kmx10km. There are also available DTMs with geographic coordinates in 1 and 3 arc-second resolutions covering respectively a section at scale  1:25 000 and a sheet at scale  1:50 000 in the ED50 reference system.
