The Magnetic Map of Italy - 2020.0

The Geodetic Department of the Italian Military Geographic Institute (IGMI), in agreement with the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), is in charge of updating the Geomagnetic Field Maps of Italy. This is the result of the measurement campaigns performed on the Italian Magnetic Network’s repeat stations.
This map updating is generally carried out every five years. This time, because of the well-known Covid 19 pandemic emergency, the measurement campaigns could not be carried out as planned, so the 2023 edition refers to 2020.0 field maps.
